Our
Story

Welcome to Coquitlam WetCoast Basketball Club!
We are a local non-profit organization, that was established in 2013 by P. Gill and A. Kaselj. We started off developing local basketball players from grade 5-8, both male and female, who aspired to play basketball at a higher competitive level. We provided a fun, supportive, structured environment for players to enhance their skills and achieve their full potential.
In 2018, we became part of the Panther Hoops International Basketball Academy preparatory program whose primary focus is providing opportunities for international preparatory players in grade 11/12. This allowed us to expand our offerings to include players from kindergarten to grade 12 in the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody), Maple Ridge, and Langley area. As a joint venture, we opened a brand new facility complete with an NBA court, half court for shooting, and weight facilities.
In 2023, we launched a return to the Tri-Cities and Burnaby, with a renewed focus on our fundamental goal of developing community players into the best they can be. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, you can trust us to help you improve your game and achieve your goals. Join us today and experience the confidence that comes with being part of the Coquitlam WetCoast Basketball Club family!
