    • Received MVP at the "AAA" high school boys provincial tournament in 1971, 1972 (one of only three in B.C. history) 

    • Received the 1972 Vic Andrews Award as the B.C. High School Athlete of the Year

  • University of Washington - Huskies player

    • Lars lettered in basketball

    • Lars was a starting player during his 4 years

    • University of Washington Bob Wurster Award as the team's Most Improved Player

    • University of Washington Hec Edmonson Trophy as the team's Most Inspirational Player 

  • Canada's Basketball National Team Program/Olympic Team - 1972-1977

    • Captained the 1972 Pre-Olympic Canadian National Team that toured Mainland China

    • Helped lead Canada to an eighth-place finish at the 1974 FIBA World Basketball Championship in San Juan, Puerto Rico​​​​

    • Played in the NABC East-West All-Star game in Oklahoma

    • Named to the NCAA PAC 8 All Conference Team

    • Selected to The Pizza Hut All America Game

    • Top rebounder of the Canadian Men’s Basketball team at the Montreal Olympics

    • Became the first player from BC to appear in the NBA
    • Chicago Bulls 1976
      • Selected in the 3rd round, drafted 39th overall

      • Played under former Raptors head Coach & NBA Hall of Fame coach Lars Wilkens
      • Played in the NBA Championships, becoming  the first Canadian to be on a NBA Championship roster 
  • European Professional Basketball 1982-1983
    • Played for Olympia Milano, Lazio Roma, OAR Ferro & FC Barcelona ​
    • Played for FC Barcelona winning the Spanish League Championship
    • 1981 FIBA Spanish First Division League MVP, as well as the league's scoring and rebounding leader, player of the year and scoring champion 

    • 1985 Men’s Provincial Championships MVP

  • World Masters Olympics- 1998, 2005, 2009​
    • 1988 Portland Master's Olympics - Men's Open Division: 35+ Category Bronze Medalist
